Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clovis-Fresno Area at 650 West Shaw Avenue, Clovis, California.

Staff is friendly and the location should have been convenient for a show at Save Mart center with the free shuttle, however the shuttle was drop off only and they didn’t tell us that until we were on the way to the venue. Right now the facility is a train wreck. There is major renovation work in progress. There is no lobby. Front desk is in a closet. There is breakfast but no place to eat it and dust and dirt everywhere. Lots of noisy power tools and pounding. If you’re coming in the near future call first to see if the work is complete. NEVER MIND ABOUT CALLING. WHILE I WAS AT THE DESK TRYING TO CHANGE ROOMS I HEARD THE CLERK ON THE PHONE LYING HIS ASS OFF ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION (TWICE).None of this was disclosed at the time the reservation was made and no accommodations were available to offset the hassle. On another note the mattress was a wreck and the sheets were worn out and all pilled up.
